WASHINGTON: Pop star Britney Spears’ former tour director Dan George recently made shocking revelations, saying the singer’s restaurateurs are monitoring her medical care, including doctor visits.
Page Six got a glimpse of a recent interview of CNN’s next special conversation with former tour director Britney Spears, where he revealed just how much control Spears’ conservatives have over his medical care.
“The tutelage dictated to her who her doctors would be, which doctors she would see, how often she would see them, how long those sessions would be – every aspect of her medical care,” he revealed.
George produced the Spears ‘Circus’ tour from 2008-2009, when his father, Jamie Spears, was both the curator of himself and his estate.
However, due to his own health issues, Jamie stepped down from his post as Personal Curator in 2019, following which Jodi Montgomery was appointed.
Jamie, who is still the curator of her daughter’s estate, oversees how her daughter’s funds will be distributed for medical care and other needs.
George’s claims are close to what Britney herself revealed in her explosive testimony in June. The ‘Toxic’ singer revealed at the time that restaurateurs forced her to stay on birth control.
“I have one [IUD] inside of me now so as not to get pregnant. I wanted to take the [IUD] so I can start trying to have another baby, but this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to get it out because they don’t want me to have children, ”he said. she declared.
According to Page Six, Britney also accused her team of forcing her to take lithium in retaliation for a dispute over her dance rehearsals from the Las Vegas tour.
“[He] said he had received a million phone calls telling me that I was not cooperating in rehearsals and that I was not taking my meds. It was all wrong. The next day he immediately put me on lithium out of nowhere, he took me off my usual medication that I had been taking for five years and lithium is a very, very strong medicine and completely different from what I was used to. she said.
Britney added that she felt drunk and couldn’t even have a conversation with her parents about anything. “I told them I was scared,” she said.
George also made a shocking revelation that the Conservatives only allowed Britney to read Christian books and could only have a cell phone “sometimes”, or when she did, it was “tightly controlled.”
George also claimed that Britney “was treated more like an object than a human”. Her restaurateurs even controlled who she could go out with and be friends with.
The singer got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari days after her father filed a petition to end his guardianship permanently after 13 long years of legal battle and noted that the court has the power. to eliminate it “without ordering a psychological evaluation”. .
On a related note, the next hearing in the case is scheduled for September 29.
