Transfer or transit passengers passing through Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport with 7 to 24 hours at their disposal can opt for a free city tour that covers certain sites depending on the time of day. Eligible passengers can check in at the Tourist Service Center in the Arrivals Hall of Terminals 1 and 2. A limited number of seats are available for advance online booking.
Although Kuala Lumpur International Airport does not offer a city tour, you can take a tour on your own using the city’s hop-on hop-off bus tours. However, remember, it takes about an hour to reach the heart of the city from the airport in normal traffic. So allow adequate travel time to and from the airport before you plan.
