Visit Bolton: Tourist guide website relaunched to welcome people back
Bolton Council has relaunched its official tourist guide website as the town continues to welcome people back after the pandemic.
Visit Bolton, a website that brings everything you need straight to one convenient place, including things to do, places to see, where to eat, shop and stay and how to get the best deals, has been relaunched.
The council says it’s the perfect companion for residents and visitors to Bolton, showcasing upcoming events including the Food and Drink Party and Ironman Weekend.
These events, alongside the council’s ongoing regeneration master plan, are helping to make the town center a more vibrant and exciting place to live, work and visit.
The relaunch of the website therefore comes at the perfect time when people can live a little like before the pandemic.
Outside of the center itself, the borough has much more to offer visitors with easy access to stunning countryside and continued municipal investment in district centres.
On the site, people can find what is happening, places to visit, restaurants, shops, places to stay overnight and travel.
Bolton Deputy Chief of Council, Cllr Hilary Fairclough, said: “Bolton has always attracted visitors from across the UK and beyond thanks to our spectacular scenery, world-class events and reputation as a to be one of the friendliest cities in the country.
“The relaunch of Visit Bolton is part of a larger plan to attract even more people to our borough, stimulate the economy and support local businesses.
“But it’s not just for tourists, the site is a great place for residents to find the best deals and find great ideas for local outings.”
